Chute fee/booking fee is due with your contract and/or the arrival of your mare. The balance for all other expenses, including board and veterinary expenses are due on or before the day your mare leaves our facility. No mares will be released from Diamond "G" Farms, L. L. C. or Heartland Equine Medical Center, Inc. before fees are paid in full.

Mares should be healthy and in sound breeding condition when they arrive at Diamond "G" Farms, L. L. C. or Heartland Equine Medical Center, Inc. : free from infections, contagious and transmittable disease. A current negative Coggins test and a copy of registration papers (both sides) and a veterinarian's health certificate including health, deworming and immunization records are required upon arrival. If a mare owner should fail to provide these documents, the veterinarian will perform the needed tests, etc. and the work will be billed to the owner.

In addition to the regular breeding fee, those requesting shipped semen will incur the charges listed below. Our extensive experience in shipping semen has resulted in the following guidelines. The chute fee and shipped semen fee must be prepaid prior to any semen shipment. There will be no exception. The first semen shipment is included in the chute/booking fee charge. For each additional semen shipment originating from Heartland Equine Medical Center, Inc., there will be a $200.00 charge to the mare owner. This fee includes normal shipping charges using Federal Express Priority Overnight Service or United Parcel Service (UPS). Shipping charges not considered "normal" include same-day FedEx Express Service, hand-delivery, counter-to-counter air transport, and shipments outside the Continental U. S. will be billed as an additional expense. The $200.00 charge applies each time the semen is shipped after the initial shipment. It is imperative that your veterinarian is aware of your mare's current breeding status and is confident that she is in fact ready to be bred. It is best to have your veterinarian contact Diamond "G" Farms, L. L. C. via telephone at 417. 325.5230 or 417.439.9172 at least two days prior to when he/she believes they will need semen for your mare. This will help us plan for your potential needs for semen.

Please remind your veterinarian to complete the AQHA Insemination Report that will be sent with your semen shipment, and return it promptly to us at Heartland Equine Medical Center, Inc., 2512 Deane Solomon RD, Fayetteville, Arkansas, 72704. You will be unable to register your foal until this document is properly executed.

We offer a LIVE FOAL GUARANTEE to all mares bred at Diamond "G" Farms, L. L. C. A live foal is described as a newborn foal, which stands and nurses without assistance. If a foal is born dead, or the mare absorbs/aborts a predetermined pregnancy there are return privileges, ONLY if Diamond "G" Farms, L. L. C. is notified within thirty (30) days and given a written certification by a licenced veterinarian confirming that the mare has slipped or produced a non-viable foal. Return breeding privileges only apply to the following breeding season. A substitute mare may be sent only if the original mare is deceased.
